Just a little update here...I am quite busy with school and teaching my daughter at the same time too. We go for a walk mostly everyday to the mall so she can play with other kids too. She's been growing so fast and is smarter and smarter everyday. I am so amazed! She can talk so clear now and becomes so independent too. She would not let me put on her socks and shoes anymore because she will do it. If I touch it, she'll get pissed hehehehehe...I trusted her and indeed, she can do it on her own now. As always, she loves to play guitar and drums and sing too. She does have a pretty voice, I can tell. Her voice is high. My husband dreamed about her singing beautifully in front of many people almost 20 years ago. Hubby was still a teenager that time and he was so amazed how beautiful her voice was. Then there was a voice that says, "that's your daughter". Hubby was so confused because the girl looks so foreign and how come she's his daughter and beside, he's still a teenager? When hubby had his first child about 14 years ago( na aksidente lang po LOL), he thought that it was her in his dream but as she gets older it becomes so obvious that she's not her. Then when I was pregnant, I was confident that I'll have a boy but hubby argued that its gonna be a girl and she was the one in his dreams a long time ago. When Miriam was born hubby was amazed because even when she was a very tiny baby, every early in the morning when she woke up, she was humming and it's so relaxing to hear. When she was in my belly, it feels like she was jumping inside each time she hears music. And now that Miriam is getting so big, hubby was able to recognize a very familiar face that he has seen a very long time ago and that was indeed his daughter, Miriam Joy. No wonder why she loves music a lot, it is because she was created to worship and more...Here is our little musician who is almost 3 years old now:

I am so bad about updating this blog. I AM VERY VERY SORRY! I know how annoying it is when you visit a blog without updates! hehehehe...Next week, I will be going back to school again. And this time, I will be taking 2 classes at a time and I hope and pray that it wont be so stressful to me. Anyway, I updated my other blog also. You guys are always welcome to visit. It's a beautiful day today and we thank God that we had a chance to get out and enjoy our walk under the sun. I am so happy that hubby got to stay home with us since its holiday today and it means, non working day. Miriam was our little work out because she runs so fast and non-stop! She doesn't care about the cars that passes by and that is why hubby always stayed right beside her while both of them run the race Lol! We went to Family Christian bookstore and Walgreens to get some snacks to munch in while we're on a walk. At the bookstore, Miriam was so busy doing her own thing such as scanning all those music CDs that she likes. Hubby was so amazed of how in the world she knew how to do that? And of course, she was checking out her favorite veggietale DVDs too. We didn't get her anything though and she was such a very good girl that she didn't whine about it. We are so proud of her. It was really a nice day today and that is why me and Miriam went for a walk down to the mall and after that I let her play at the playground here in our apartment complex. It was still chilly although its sunny but at least its not raining. We went to my favorite store at Joann also and I bought some stuff. All in all, we do have fun today and I can't stop thanking God for all the blessings He gave to us. Here are some pictures of Miriam while she's at the playground. I am so blown away with how smart our technology works these days specifically with how this tool called Envoy works. I am so proud of my 6th grader niece in the Philippines because she won the math quiz championship for the whole school district and on the 23rd, she will be going to Cebu to represent the city for a regional math competition. I am praying that she will win again!!! She and her siblings are smart kids. Our family is so blessed to have them because even if their father left them (5 kids), they just keep going and thrive hard. Her elder sister who is 13 years old is now a dance instructor too. Man, I am not biased but she is the best dancer I've ever seen. She can beat those dancers at "Dancing with the Stars". She can dance any kind of dances. Despite her talent, she is really pretty too. She's tall and dark with a face nga pang Bb Pilipinas. Maglaway ra jud unya ila amahan nila. Gibiyaan sila sa ila amahan tungod sa ka irresponsable, daghang kabit ug palahubog pirmi rang kulatahon ang ila inahan. Salamat sa Ginoo nga wala na to sya kay bali intawon pag antos sa mga bata ug sa tibuok pamilya namo.

I was kinda frustrated this morning because after I checked my email, my laptop just stop working! I called hubby right away to let him know what happened and he told me that it could be because our gateway laptop needs a new battery because the old one is not working anymore. We have the other battery but the thing is I can't find it elsewhere. When hubby got home from work, the first thing I asked him about is to fix the laptop. The good thing also is that he found our gateway laptop battery and it works great now. If you guys need battery for your laptop, these gateway laptop batteries are awesome! I am so glad that they are always available and so affordable too.

I miss this bloggy a lot. I am so sorry friends if I was not able to update this blog from time to time. I am just so lazy these days especially that its freezing cold here. But I am so glad that it was rainy here for 2 days now that me and Miriam were able to get out and walk down to the mall, grocery store, Target and, Joann craftstore. I bought Miriam a leather winter coat at JCPenney that my filipina friend who works there recommended to me since they have tons of clearance which simply means they're very cheap. I was able to buy a coat that was priced $40 originally for only 11 bucks now. I also bought Miriam a leather boot shoes in clearance also at Target. Also, I bought her a 14K gold pendant for her necklace at Pagoda Piercing at the mall. I do have fun going out!!! And oh by the way, don't forget our favorite Acai Jamba Juice too. I am looking forward for another sunny day tomorrow, hopefully! I praise Jesus for the nice day!!!!

Since I got here in the states, I learned to cook and I am so loving it! My biased hubby keep on saying that I am the best cook he ever known and I should start my own restaurant LOL! Actually I would love to have my own restaurant someday, I've been watching this filipino soap opera called "Ysabella" and it encourages me to be a chef someday too HAHAHAHA... Anyway, I made different kinds of foods...puerto rican, mexican, indian, thai food and other asian foods. When we were in the Philippines, our all time favorite food at Jollibee was their spaghetti and last week, I tried making it and according to hubby it does taste like Jollibee spaghetti. I think it is not that perfect but I am almost there hehehe.. That was my first time to make that spaghetti last week and I made another batch last Saturday because it becomes an instant family favorite...hehehe...I have some leftovers here to share to all of you...LOL.

My hubby had an appointment with a friend last Wednesday who need his help on web design for his business. I am so grateful to God for how He blessed us with Miriam. She is a joy to our lives and to other people too. Her development is so amazing! This morning I was so surprised with how she communicate with me. She was eating and she accidentally dropped the food on the floor and then she came to me and said, "Mommy, I dropped it". I was so speechless because I didn't realized she can speak that well...everyday she has new discoveries that is just wonderful. And I was just laughing really hard because she showed me this very tiny picture from our church's pamphlet and told me, "Jesus" I was like, "where?" and then she pointed it to me...it was a Jesus with little children! I was so touched with how she was able to recognized it. I remember I only told her once and from that time on, she never forgets already. One time also while we're getting ready to go out, she was standing by the door waiting for us and maybe she was annoyed why it took us so long to get ready, she yelled" My goodness sake" HAHAHA...we were so surprised because we didn't teach her those words..I guess she got that somewhere.HEHEHE..Her memory is just brilliant! We had snowstorm yesterday and now its all gone! I hope they're be snow again. Anyway, its raining like cats and dogs here and hubby just called me from work that he was late for work this morning because  something horrible happened and here's the story...please click here.

Last Monday afternoon (about 4PM), my hubby and his friend were playing racquetball  and it was really sad because he came home around 6PM with a broken ankle. He played to much and was out balance maybe and he probably twist his foot and then hurt his ankle bone or something. We went to urgent care that night and now he is wearing crutches. On the positive side, he got to stay home with us. Yesterday he had no choice but to go grocery shopping with me since I can't drive yet. He was just riding this smart cart at  Costco and Miriam was sitting on his lap. But thanks God because he told me that he is feeling way better now. According to him, he can walk without the crutches now. This morning he had no choice again but to attend his training for work. This will be until tomorrow and probably he can work on Friday. He really  want to stay home and rest but he can't missed this training since his employer paid for it and its a lot! As long as he can still walk, that's fine with me.
